Yves Saint Laurent’s Mon Paris is something completely new. You would be tempted to think that it would be similar to Yves Saint Laurent’s Paris but it is not.
It starts off with fruit. Fruits like raspberry, strawberry and pear. The opening does have a jammy opening. The pear does break that a bit and makes it a little more clean. The middle is definitely floral. Think flowers like peony, jasmine, orange blossom. The peony is the main player but not in the same way that it typically presents in other fragrances. The peony is light. The middle isn’t strong but it is present. It is definitely over powered by the opening.
The base is white musk but clean and pale. Which is almost invisible in the beginning but gets stronger the longer you wear it.
My thoughts: Mon Paris is a wearable modern fruity floral scent. It is youthful (not too young though) and sweet. It is safe for most environments and occasions. This will last 3-4 hours on me. I wish it lasted longer but its not too disappointing. My only criticism is that it is not unique. Its very reminiscent of other popular fragrances lately, especially from this house.

I read this review a while back and then went to purchase this scent! I’m limiting myself to two scents at a time. I tried Mon paris & Gucci bloom.
Your review is spot on! It’s very sweet, but not as musky as black opium.
This makes it a very nice everyday scent for me.
Thanks for the review! I love your content, I am looking forward to more.
I’d like to request Christmas themed blog posts? A mixture of spirituality, lifestyle, beauty posts around the festive season leading up to Christmas day.
Love and blessings!
Mary
